He took me out for a special date, before Christmas...... He took me out to a nice restaurant, surprised me with the ballet Nutcracker and a special gift! Great loving memories. We sat at 3rd row. I had a good time and enjoyed the Nutcracker and off course, most of all this special gift he gave me! Special memories and good times with my Boyfriend:)

Before Chrismas, we went a group of good friends to Ice Skate... that was so much fun! Me and Jonathan went for dinner first, than met up with our friends and we had a lot of fun on the ice! It was so nice there... all the lights and most of all, having fun with friends and my boyfriend:)

One of the last nights of our trip, while we were at the cabin in Arkansas I was on my way out with the garbage and on my way to get something in the bus that I needed. Natalie stopped me, and was insisting that some of the guys should take it and not me. Well, I needed to get to the bus anyway to get some stuff, and Pablo ended up going with me.... West Virginia

Because of limited internet connection and my return to Norway, I never got the chance to keep my blog updated. Anyway, we got safe to our next stop. We got a warm welcome at the Summit church in Elkins in West Virginia. It was a great experience to be there. We had 2 workdays and we had a worship night at church friday evening and we had the worship sunday morning. It was awesome to be there and help and serve people. the first workday we had was at a farm. The couple who had the farm had a dream for a long time to start an organic farm. The ended up moving to West Virginia, found a "left" house what they are now rebuilding. They needed a lot of help. they had no water to the house or restroom. The water they had was bought in the city. We went to the farm and we helped out. The video under is showing you what we were doing.

The next workday we helped out a mom with 6 children from the age of 14 and under. this mom is doing everything to make the ends to meet. Taking care of her 6 kids and she work a lot, to earn the money for living for the whole family. The mom needed some help with a lot of boxes that was standing in the dining room, and she also had a dining table that was unpacked. Not only that, but her washing machine broke down the week before we came, and she needed a lot of help with laundry. The guys took care of the dining room and the dining table, and the girls took all the dirty laundry and went to a laundry to wash all the cloths. This really helped out the mom. we met a family that was so grateful for the help. The mom did not know how much she could say thank you. It meant so much to her and the kids. I was so grateful that we could help and bless people where we went! God is love, and he cares about us, and he want us to help other people. He want us to care, love and help those in need.

This church gave us work to do, that we enjoyed- but they also took us out for hiking and BQ and fun at one of our hosting family! We had a great time!

Sooo.....we kind of got stuck!!!

So, this is what happened. On our way from the Youth Camp far far away up and in the forrest, we came to a cross-road. The GPS told us to take left, but the road on right seemed to be a much better road to take than the left one. But, we took the chance and took the road to left, since that road seemed to be the shortest one to the gas station. We really needed GAS!! So, after driving some miles, this is what happened... we got stuck! The road became so steep that the bus could not drive up that way. All of us in the bus became silent! Josh stopped the bus totally, and him and Daniel went out of the bus to see the circumstances and encouraged us all to pray. We all could understand this was seriouse. BUT, we all kept the peace and just knew that everything would be okay. And WHAT a great TEAM-WORK!!! Im so proud of my team! Love them ALL!! We made it and got out of it:) Praise God!

When we got back on the road, we still didn't have any phone reception. So when we stopped by the gas station, Natalie and Daniel had to use a phone-box or how you call it, to call the pastor and tell them that we were late. See the video further down:)

Youth Camp at Fairmont

Next stop was at a youth camp at Fairmont. Im so excited to see the leaders there, how much time and effort the put in to be at this camp to help those wonderful youths! I got the chance to talk to some of them, and lot of those youths who was there came from broken homes or was going through hard times in family. This youths was looking for love, they just wanted to be in a place where they could receive love, and I can tell they got a lot of love and care at that camp. We had the chance to be there, ministry to them through worship and had a lot of good talk with the youths. The youths was so dedicated and expressive. Just to give some expression from the camp I have uploaded some videos here.

Let I remind you that recording from a camera is not the best when it comes to recording live music, and it takes inn everything in the room:) Anyway, we all had a GOOD time!!!

Short Update

Alright, we are now on the road. Since I haven't been having internet connection I haven't been able to update so often that I thought I would. We are now in St.Louis. Yesterday we arrived St.Louise after a 6 hours drive from Muskogee, where we visit Christ Church (Pastored by Austin Howels Parents. Such great people). For those who don't know, Austin Howel is our drummer on our team:) GREAT drummer! Yea, so we had a great time there, and we had a lot of fun. If I didn't mention it, we had our first stop at Life Church in Bartlesville (The pastor there was half Norwegian.. He started to talk about Geilo and places in Norway. I thought that was fun :D ). We had a great time there.

St.Louis Dream Center and Faith Church

As I mentioned, we are now in St.Louis. Today we visited the Dream Center (founder Joyce Meyers) It was an honor to be there, to serve and help out at the Dream Center. This summer they have a summer school for kids in the neighborhood. They have a lot of fun activities and they get free food. I think that is so awesome and the teachers works as volunteers. We were there and helped out today, and the kids was so adorable! We just loved them! I found the Dream Center an exciting place to be. The classrooms was so nice, and they had so much nice stuff for the kids to play with. It was clean, creative, colorful and FUN. They do and AMAZING job at the Dream Center. Helping homeless, the hungry and poor people. During the day we were some people from my team and the Dream Center knocking on doors around the neighborhood and invite kids and youths up to 18years for free lunch. I think is awesome to see what the Dream center do in the city. This is really people reaching and loving those who have nothing. Providing food, clothing and shelter for those in need.

Later this evening we were leading the worship at the Dream Center church. It was an privilege to be there and serve! God is so good!

Day 4

Today we were putting together and setting up the sound system that we will bring with us, Aaron Sevigny came by, told us about his new born baby and the miracles that take place in his life. It was awesome and good news:) After checking out the sound-system, we met Ron that was sharing some word and praying for us. The rest of the day we had the day off to buy and prepare for the 3 weeks road trip. Later on we meet for dinner.(My cousin had birthday party today too- Good food and a lot of people! :) Happy Birthday to Camilla:)

Day 3 (Practice day)

Today we had team building. I can say that we had a lot of fun. We started our day at 7.15 and went for breakfast, than we went to Camp Victory for some challenge, worship practice and later on ministry practice with Dr.Edwin Miranda. That was awesome. In the end of the meeting he wanted us to pray for each other. The Bible say that we should lay our hands on the sick and they will be healed. SO, first man out was Austin. He have been having some back problems and he also had some "smoke" lungs (is what he called it)- and couldn't take deep breath with out having a small cough. Mark prayed for him and Austin felt the pain leave the back and could breath in with no problems. Next man out was Mark. He broke his foot for like 2 weeks ago, and been having pain. We prayed for him and he got totally fine and could jump on the foot and did not feel a thing! Than we prayed for Paul, He had some muscle problems around his ribs that made him hard time breath some times. We prayed for him and he could suddenly take a deep breath with no problems. He could not do that before. Another thing he could not do before was sitting on a chair and turn left and right to stretch. He was totally fine! God is awesome! We all got so excited and have such expectancy for this trip.

To bad, Marialicia was standing on the "lawa" so we did not made it the first part, and we ALL was mute so we couldn't tell her neither that she was burning of the "lawa". But we made it for 30 "fast" sec in the end...LOL:D

SUMMER TOUR 2010

Today the summer tour start! We will start today with practice for 3 whole days!!!! Phu.. get in to hard work, memories songs and get tight with the band. But one of the most important things is to prepare in pray and seek God for the days ahead. We have an awesome band and band members. I think it is a privilege to be part of this awesome team with awesome people and musicians! We are all very excited for this trip. We will be traveling around here and there, and as an international I’m excited about see more of USA! Our trip will last for 3 whole weeks and we will be traveling with bus. We are going to meet a lot of people and churches and our goal is to just be there and serve and help out in the church and share the good news. Under I have written down our schedule for this trip, so you will know where we are☺

This will be our schedule:
June 1-4: Team Building and training
June 5: Bartlesville
June 6-7: Muskogee
June 12-21: WV (Fairmont)
June 21-24: Carbondale, IL
June 24-26: Debrief (Possibly Bentonville/Branson, MO)

In this citys and churches we will be helping out with Youth work, camp, Kids explosion conference, woman conference and just be there and serve and help the churches whit what ever they need help with. We are all excited!

Pray for the team and me. I believe God for a blessed trip where we can help/serve people, bless people and churches we go to. I have been in that position that I have/had to believe God for finances for this trip, God is my provider so I put my trust in Him! I believe God wanted me on this trip- so in faith I have reached out and are now going. I know this is the right thing to do, and as long you seek Gods Kingdom first he will give you what you need. He is my provider and in Him I trust. God is faithful!

Tonight after a great time at School of worship celebration I was hanging out with my dear friends that is leaving Tulsa soon!! I will miss them so much! Monica and Bianca Martinez. Two beautiful sisters. My chica sisters! They will be missed so deeply! Sunday they leave! I just try to spend as much time with them as possible now, cause I dont know when I will see them again! Last day at school today!

Jepp, my last day at school today! Had my last finals today! YAY! Summertime! what is waiting me next is the summer tour with school of worship. Long buss-drives and meeting a lot of new people, churches, places and have a lot of great time with the team and who ever we will meet on our way:D I'm expecting great things to happen! But first 3-4 days with intense practice and preparation!!

So the highlight today must be my last day at school and last day of finals! :)

I had an Idea! I thought that maybe I could try to write a note everyday about something that made me glad:) Something that was an highlight of the day!! SO.. i start with today! Today I had Elizabeth beautiful to fix my hair, and it looks good! After that, I went to Nordaggios and bought an Iced Mocha! You wonder probably what is special with that? Well, the thing is that I LIKE Iced Mocha on a hot day. One of my favorites! So, here is a picture of me and the iced mocha. (ready for doing my last final) The last final is maybe something that's kind of "top thing" of the day too;) LAST final, not the final in it self ;p

D.R and Easter

There is so much I would like to write on my blog! But sometimes is hard to find the time to sit down and write everything that is going on. Anyway, right now I'm sitting in my bed, my pink and purple bed- looking across my room, where two roomies are sleeping and snoring (no, that is not true... they don't snore much). But yes, I'm sitting here, and it's very late. Thinking about this last weeks that just past. Reflecting over an amazing mission trip to Dominica Republic, where I was vitnes to life be changed. Healing in peoples life, blind man could see, a lady that could not hear or speak got healed- her ears got opened and she could speak.. and for the first time, she could hear her name pronounced. This is just few of many miracles we could see in D.R. God is good, and he only have good gifts to give us. He gave us Jesus, that paid my prize. He is so good to me, fill my life with meaning and a hope for the future!

I love Him, cause he loved me first!

Asking God...

What I now is about to say has been ha long thinking process for me. As most of you know, I got the permission from work to go to USA to study music at VBI in Tulsa, and my plan was to come back home in July. I was home for a trip at Christmas time, and had a meeting with my boss and was so sure that I would come back 1.july. But, after a meeting with him, and on my way back home on the train, something did not feel right inside of me. I had no clue what that could be, so I started to pray and ask God what he wanted me to do. From that time till now

I have been in pray about the fall and next year. I tried to imagine my self staying here one more year or go back to Norway for work. I found out that by seeking God and be in the quite place I felt more peace about staying one more year in Tulsa. That decision was not easy. Be far away from family and friends and leaving a job that I appreciated (with wonderful co-workers). Taking that step was very hard! I used a whole evening writing my boss the mail about quitting, and I used the whole night looking at the "send" button! I talked to God and said: "God, I have given up everything now.. what more is there to take?", "God, I believe the peace inside is a guidens from you, so I choose to trust you and Im willing to take the step in faith and walk the path you have for me, cause I believe you only have good gifts and a great future for those who trust in you". So, I send the mail!

Awesomeness...

So, what happened? The next day, I was visiting my aunt and uncle. They had been talking, and they had decided that the car I was borrowing from them, was now mine :D They GAVE me the car! Than, the very next day, I got respond on my mail for a summer job at the same company I was working in, and they could tell me that I can work there this summer for 2 months and they made an awesome work schedule for me! Beside that, I also got a job/work study(work that will cover the school fee) at Victory. I will be working for the International Pastor Stephen Loi. Im so excited about that. Be helping out and work with the international ministry at the church!! God is good! He make a way when we follow him:) I'm just so grateful!

(By the way: This car is so MUCH better than my Skoda! No more Skoda jokes;)

I was expecting a relaxing evening at Whitneys house, and after I arrived, one by one from the D.R Missionteam showed up and surprised me with a BIG cake with candels...that was so sweet:D Tomorrow is my real birthday, in American time, and I will turn... :) HA! I was trying practicing 8 song to this trip in spanish, we ended up singing 4-5 of them! We also ended up learning a new one right on the spot or just one hour before we were singing... on mission trips, you ALWAYS have to be prepared, right there and than ;)

Im counting down, counting down the days before departure to Dominican Republic! For those who wonder- I'm going for a mission trip together with Victory church. I'm very excited. From the information I have got, Dominican Republic is on of the poorest countries Latin-America. Victory church will be cooperating together with Feed the hungry and at the time we are there, we will be helping out preparing food packages. On our team we will also have doctors and nurses that will give medical help to the people. During this week there will be Victory crusade, youth Crusade and Children festival, Woman conference, worship and leader conferences. I will be part of the worship team, and on 1,5 week I have to learn 8 spanish songs(memorize)! I happily receive prayer:)

This is the first time I have ever experienced Ice-rain. Is crazy to see how rain turn in to ice when it hit the ground! The funny thing with being in Tulsa when is Ice-rain and snow is that all traffic kind of stop and schools are closed. The weather report tells us that tomorrow it will be snowing, and we are not going to school... we are kind of stuck in our apartment. I kind of don't like that! When I think of Norway, at the time I went to middle school, the only time the school was closed was one time when it was hurricane and the other time was when the King of Norway died (King Olov). what can I say.. this is kind of a new world to me.. no driving and no school, cause it is snowing in Tulsa! Dear americans.. get some winter tires on your cars!!!

Ps. I did some extra research about the tree day said fall down, but it was not the whole tree, it was a big branch!!!

We were 10 people running in to the forrest. It was "okay" cold and dark. It was so much fun. I falled a couple of times, but thanks to the snow it did not hurt;) We ended up on a open field, and we had a great view over the Oslo fjord. Some of my friends had fire-works and it was a lot of fun watching it. We also got the chance to see all the fire-works over the other side of the fjords.

Faith like potatoes

Sunday I was visiting my friends Naomi and Lars, and we happened to be watching the movie “Faith like potatoes”. The movie is a drama based on true story about on white farmer Angus Buchan (Frank Rautenbach), who -- weary of the conflict in Zambia -- moves his family to South Africa, where they try to transform a bare plot of land into a working farm. Buchan faces a string of challenges, but as he overcomes each hurdle, he gradually realizes that his hunger for material wealth has been replaced with a growing sense of spirituality.

To me this movie was a faith-building story. About a man and his family surrounded their life to Christ and how he pray and start to trust God through the challenges they met. It was one story in the movie that made me think even more about faith, and kind of challenged me. Angus Buchan decided to plant potatoes. And at that time that was NOT possible, it was to dry and it haven't been raining for a long time. But he was so sure that God had spoken to his hart and gave him peace to do it. He had friends that were worried about him and try to talk him out of it, but he was so determent to do it! So, he planted the potatoes.

He was praying and he was waiting till that day when the harvest of the potatoes came- they start to dig in to the ground and from the ground they could received a big harvest of nice and big potatoes!

After watching this movie and after the interview of the farmer, family and friends (they could all testify that the story’s from the movie was true) I start to think about the scripter in Heb.11:1

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see”.

This farmer was so confident. He had friends coming over and the bank was calling him and wanted him to really consider and thing through this decision he made. But he was so confident. He had faith. Faith is the confidence that what he was hoping for would actually happen.

This movie challenged me and was also very encouraging!

I arrived 2 hours late at Gardemoen Tuesday. Glad I left monday and not the weekend. Happened to be bad snow storm in NY saturday/sunday, and because of that it was a lot of traffic at the airport monday. All the flights that was cancelled on sunday was now flying out and planes was coming in. A LOT of traffic!!

I arrived safely at Gardemoen and it was a joy to be back in Norway and see my family again. This last days I have just try to get over this jetleg. Is getting better!

Right now I have been opening my presents and got a lot of nice stuff, stuff that I needed. I received it with joy:)

I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Alright, it has been a while since I have been writing on my blog. well, the reasons are many. Anyway, lets start form today! well, I had my last final, and our Vocal class was preforming today at VMM (Victory Music Ministry). we were singing "oh Holy night". Not only did we preform it for VMM but also for the whole staff at Victory's Christmas party on monday. That was an honor. I actually realized how big the church is, when I came to the party. there were A LOT more people there than what I had expected. I think it was like 300 people?! Anyway, it was an honor and a a lot of fun to sing together with this great Vocal class Im attending to, and Im so grateful for our awesome Vocal teacher! She is amazing! Her name is Dawn and lead, sing, play piano and lead choir at Victory Christian Center. All in all, I have been having a great week, some tuff days with finals, but all in all a good week:)

Well, guess is time for me to prepare a cake for tomorrows Christmas party for VBI school of worship. It has been a LOT of Christmas party's this week! Hehe.... and it is a lot of fun! Good food, good music and good friends!

Death is not the end, is just the beginning……..

I thought I would like to write down some of this falls experience and my thoughts that has passed by my mind lately. Something that has become more real to me this last months and also expended my thinking a little bit more, if I can say so.

I’m so happy to be in Tulsa and have the chance to go to VBI. It is a blessing and an honor to be attending to VBI worship school. I must say my journey and walk this fall has been in many ways challenging in faith and my belief. I have been facing personal challenge and also other challenges, like my faith in God. As many of you know, Pastor Billy Joe went to be with the Lord in November. The whole church prayed for him, other churches’ around Tulsa, USA and the world was praying for him. He was confessing the word, the family stayed by him and also believing the word and healing. He did progress, healing was flowing through his body and the report was good. Healing was taking place.

But suddenly he got hospitalized again and everything happened so fast and he went to be with the Lord. To be honest, when I heard that news, I felt my faith was shaking. What just happened? Did we not pray and confess the word? Almost half of the world was praying for this man, yet he went to be with the Lord. Suddenly I start to ask a lot of questions.

That week was very emotional. I believed Pastor Billy Joe was now with the Lord, yes. But the challenge was all my questions about what just happened! My thoughts and prayer went to the family! But I also found my self kind of lost and felt like believing a God I thought I knew but now I didn’t know. So what happened, you probably ask?

I had good friends around me that helped me put things in to new perspectives. One has Master degree in theology. He also have been facing things in life and been challenged through his study’s, but stay stronger in faith today. At VBI they shared a scripture from Deuteronomy 29:29 that says: “The Lord our God has secrets know to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.”

There are things happening that we just don’t understand, God is sovereign and when things happen, will I still trust Him? I also want to bring forth Daniel 3. The story about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They refused to bow for the gold statue made of King Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar got mad at them and commanded to fire up the furnace, and even heated up 8 times more- and threw them in there. This was the reply Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego gave the King: “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make sure it clear to you. Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up”.

This guys said; God Him self will rescue us, BUT if He doesn’t, STILL we will not bow for your God.

If you read John 6:22-68. It’s a lot to read, but it is about Jesus talking about that he is the bread of life. A lot of things that he said were not understandable for some of the disciples. They said it was hard words and hard to understand. Some disciples left Jesus. Than, Jesus turned to the twelve and asked them: are you also going to leave? Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would I go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

In the end everything is between you and God. There are things we don’t understand. To be honest, there are things I don’t understand. There are things happening in my life and this. BUT still, in you God I choose to believe and trust. Personally, I have experience Jesus, his present and healing in my body. Also healing in my heart. To me He is my Lord, and I found my self in the same situation as Peter. I know he is alive, he is the living word- to whom should I go? There is no one else with such great Love than God. So I find my selves confessing and say: “Lord, I don’t understand, but I choose to trust you and I still believe in you”.

Affabel: During that time, 3D (service for 18-28) did a drama from the book Affabel, written by John Bever. It was a drama about some people doing different things in their life(we could relate to), and one day they all was taken to the Kingdom Affabel and had to be accountable for the gift and the responsibility they had been trusted in the community Endel. Some wasted their gift, some did their calling, some could do so much more and some had pride and unforgivness, and they all ended up different places.

Our earthly life is short compare to eternal life. The question is what do you do with your life now and who do you trust? Jesus? Eternal life is to know God and love him with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as your self. Love God and love people. To me this became real. I trust in Jesus, and I want my life to count.

On our way from Houston to Tulsa we passed by a big statue of Sam Houston. To bad, but I don't know so much of the story.... but interesting to see some historical statues like that along the way back home. I don't know if I got my historical story right here, but all I know is that this statue is one of the presidents of USA. (according to Natalie).

What an honor it has been for me, to be here in Tulsa, go to VBI and be member of Victory Christian Center, where Billy Joe was Pastor. Billy Joe is founder of Victory Christian Center, Victory Christian School and VIctory Bible Institute, where Im now attending. During this short time I have been here, I have been listening to Billy Joe at sunday services and also been having him as one of my teacher. He was teaching in the subject Pray, and this quarter he was suppose to teach in Charismatic Foundation. I was longing for him to come back to teach. He was such a good teacher, amazing pastor that was living for God and for the people! I have big respect for that man! He has done huge impact!

So sad, but on sunday, at at the service, they announced that Billy Joe, at 4.40 sunday morning died, and went home to the Lord. It was a shock and so sad! Only 57 years old. He was a good and faithful servant for the Lord! He will be deeply missed! He has a wonderful family and my thought and prayer goes now to the family!

Wow, I guess this kind of picture is not new... Me, coffee Mocha and a good book. It's really cold outside now, I guess this is the coldest day for me so far. I have now been here for 2 months, and still I get surprised of the difference between Norway and USA. For example: Wallmart have everything, I mean EVERYTHING..(things I thought Wallmart DID NOT have, they have it all and more) when it's raining, It is RAINING, when it's thunder and lightning.. It is LIGHTNING and THUNDERING(heaven and earth is shacking..well, Is what it feels like)!! Everyone say "Hey, how are you" but before you have been able to open your mouth, they are all gone. Its air-condition everywhere, thats not bad, but it would be nice to stay warm in your body and not get to frozen from top to tow all the time. yea yea.. I know, I'm from Norway, but my world is a little bit different- We almost don't have air-condition back home in our houses. most of the time we need to heath it up (aaa..make me miss the warm floors back home..aaaa, doesn't that sound good;)), and we stay inside to be warm, and put on warm cloths when we go outside. Here, you get cold inside and get warm when you go outside. When I go to school I dress up in warm cloths, and when I get back home I jump in to my t-shirt and shorts (almost), mostly jeans, since most of the time I'm inside;p But It seems like those days are gone now, for this season. It's getting colder and colder. I just hope it will get warmer and warmer inside ;)

Well, during the time I have been here, so far I have meet wonderful people. I uploaded some pictures on facebook. If you are my friend on FB you can take a look:) I enjoy my time here, I'm so blessed and so happy that I'm attending to VBI. To grow spiritual and learn more music and grow vocally. The weeks are passing by so fast, and I just want to enjoy every minute of it! So tired during the day, and have some hard time to read and so, but I'm thankful for every moment and day I have. I thank God for everything. I serve a great God, love my friends and family, thankful for the school I go to, thankful for all the teachers I have, roommates... I have so much to thank God for! Im excited for the times that is ahead!

For God LOVED THE WORLD SO MUCH that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Believe it or not, yes- we have room-check every tuesday. Someone from the student housing office will do a cleaning check on all the student housing apartments, and trust me- they check every corner of the apartment!!!! (Guess I know what you are thinking now...lalalala) ANYWAY-good reports! We did a excellent job! NO marks!! YAY! Good job girls (Natalie, Abby and Key... my roomies)

well, finally this crazy weather turned in to sunshine again... yesterday was just crazy. After school it was really hot, like 30 degrees Celsius. Happy I went home and put on a nice skirt and t-shirt. But what happened? In the next moment the sky was grey and from the blue and nowhere- sunshine turned in to lightning and thunder, and the rain just pooooored down, and suddenly it started to hail! what in the world just happened? The temperature suddenly dropped from 30 too 23 degrees C, so I just had to put on my diesel pants again! Anyway, after like 6 hours, I could see the stars and the moon again, and today is a sunny day! Fantastic, so much better! Anyway, I have to do some hearing practice. we have an assignment for tomorrow where we have to listen to a CD(one song) and be able to analyze and hear the different instruments playing and how many who is singing and how they are singing. So, I guess I just have to go back to work and finnish it! well, thats all for now! Have a great day!

The School has started and it's great to be here. First day at school was today. awesome! We had about the New testament, and the teacher brought up some political stories from the time Jesus was living on earth. He was also talking about the books in TNT, the authors and reasons for why The Bible have the books from Matthew till the book of Revelation, and why not the other books that have appeared later on (like the book of Thomas) is not there. I learned a lot of new stuff today! thats good!

Right now Im at at cafe, Nortaggios cafe close to Wall-mart and ORU. I need INTERNET!!!! I don't have internet where I live right now, and thats NOT fun! I hope we will get it soon!! So I can keep updated and talk to friends and family in Norway:) I guess I will be picked up soon, so I should get ready...

My new home

This is at the VBI Student housing. This will be my new home. Still I haven't got totally settle. I will show more pictures later. I have just got to know two of my roommates. Abby and Natalie. Two sweet girls! And our plan is to decorate the apartment a little bit more!! Not much in there yet, and maybe not so "homey". The apartment need some colors ;) Anyway, this days I got the opportunity to enjoy the swimming-pool, while I was waiting for my love to be finnish with his class at ORU!!!! I had the swimming-pool all by my self! It was great!

Goodbye party (Norway-USA)

Yay, I’m all done packing! I have been packing my suitcase the whole day, and I have now ended up with 3 suitcases! No chance in the world that I only managed to pack 2 suitcases!;p

Yesterday I had Goodbye party. A lot of people showed up! That was great! A lot of cakes, candy and food! Yammi! Great evening with great friends!!! I enjoyed it! But hey, I have to tell you about my car!! Friday was the last day I would use my car, than I would sell it. BUT, what happened? Lise and I arrived the house, and we were taking out the cakes and stuff out of the car and in the house. Suddenly I hear Lise says: "Jane, your car!!!" In the window, from the house I can see my car rolling in to the garden and hit a tree! Ahhh..IF I only used the handbreak and IF I only closed my two doors at the left side of the car while I was in the house!!!

Today I brought my mom to Hankø Hotell for Spa. They gave us facial masasje, wrapped us in clay and gave us aroma masasje. After that Jacuzzis...wow, what a great evening! Later on my dad came, and we had a nice dinner all 3 of us!

Hi friends! I haven’t been updated for a while! It has been so much to do lately. Last week we had visit. Kasper and Sara were here, and we had a great week together, and had a great day at Tusenfryd!
This weekend my mom and I went to the west-cost. Visiting my Grandmother, friends(karadash family and good neighbours from Kråkvika, Ellingsæter), my friend Annette from Molde and Vik family (my sister, brother-in-law, Kasper and Sara). When we were visiting my Grandmother, I was very curious and wanted to visit my great-grandmother and great-grandfathers house in Austefjorden. I have been there before, but this time I really wanted to take some pictures and just see how they lived at that time. The house was built in 1930-40 and they have kept the house and all in it the same way since my great-grandmother died long time ago. It was like a museum to me. Walking in our own family museum.

My Grandmother showed me a purse in that house, and that purse was made of my great-great-grandmother. She made it all- the wool from the sheep, the colour from the nature. She made it all from scratch. It was so cool to see! Especially the colours, made of her from the nature. Here, you can see some pictures from this last week.
